Job Description

The Material and Process Engineer supports aerostructure materials, fabrication processes and engineering standards. The role investigates manufacturing problems, develops material and process requirements and collaborates with design, production, quality and supply-chain teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop material and manufacturing-process requirements.
• Investigate production and material-performance problems.
• Support qualification of aerospace materials and processes.
• Prepare engineering specifications and technical reports.
• Coordinate with design, manufacturing and quality teams.
• Support process changes and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate suppliers and manufacturing capabilities.
• Maintain applicable engineering and compliance documentation.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, aerospace or mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited programme.
• At least two years of related engineering experience for Associate Level 2.
• At least five years of related experience for Mid-Level Level 3.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in multifunctional teams.
