Job Description

The engineer develops transportable ground hardware and mission equipment designed to operate across diverse environments and climates.

Responsibilities

Develop mechanical hardware and rack assemblies.

Create three-dimensional models and production drawings.

Package commercial electronics into transportable systems.

Support integration and deployment activities.

Resolve structural, thermal and manufacturing issues.

Coordinate cross-functional hardware development.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical or aerospace engineering.

At least five years of engineering experience.

At least four years of three-dimensional mechanical design and drafting experience.

Experience with commercial electronics or rack assemblies.

Ability to travel up to approximately 10%.
