The engineer evaluates low-observable materials, structures and aircraft features that reduce signatures and improve survivability.
Responsibilities
Support low-observable aircraft design.
Evaluate signature-management materials and features.
Conduct testing and analyse measurement data.
Support manufacturing and repair processes.
Document survivability requirements and results.
Collaborate with aerodynamics, structures and materials teams.
Eligibility
Relevant mechanical, aerospace, materials or physics qualification.
Understanding of electromagnetic or low-observable principles.
Strong engineering analysis and problem-solving ability.
Ability to work onsite in Palmdale.
US citizenship and eligibility for the required security clearance.
