Job Description
The Supervisor Maintenance Operations oversees and coordinates aircraft-maintenance activity at JFK. The role connects Maintenance Control, Maintenance Planning, Line Maintenance, Station Operations and Dispatch to maintain operational readiness and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
• Lead coordination between maintenance and operational departments.
• Direct responses to maintenance issues on and off the gate.
• Coordinate aircraft placement and parking for maintenance.
• Oversee maintenance workload and line-station activity.
• Communicate aircraft availability and operational effects.
• Coordinate removal from and return to service.
• Review delay, cancellation and interruption reporting.
• Coach and develop maintenance crewmembers.
Eligibility
• High-school diploma or GED.
• Five years of aircraft-maintenance experience.
• Five years of heavy-transport-aircraft experience.
• Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SIDA badge.
• Ability to work flexible day, night and overtime schedules.
• Legally authorised to work in the United States without sponsorship.
