Job Description
The Aircraft Records Supervisor maintains historical and time-control information for aircraft and components. The position supervises records coordinators, audits record quality and supports internal, external and FAA reviews.
Responsibilities
• Supervise aircraft-record coordinators.
• Maintain time-control and historical component data.
• Track airworthiness and engineering directives.
• Update records policies and procedures.
• Conduct random records-quality audits.
• Train departments on record-retention systems.
• Support internal, external and FAA audits.
• Improve scanning, indexing and record retrieval.
Eligibility
• High-school diploma or GED.
• Three years of aircraft-records experience.
• Knowledge of the General Maintenance Manual.
• Knowledge of ATA coding.
• Understanding of FAR 121.380.
• Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets and scanning systems.
• Legally authorised to work in the United States without sponsorship.
