Job Description
The Manager MOC Planning leads the team responsible for coordinating real-time aircraft maintenance planning. The role balances operational requirements with maintenance constraints, regulatory compliance, fleet reliability and scheduled-maintenance protection.
Responsibilities
• Lead the MOC Planning team across a 24-hour operation.
• Direct aircraft swaps, rerouting and ground-time adjustments.
• Protect scheduled maintenance and regulatory compliance.
• Prioritise MEL, CDL, NEF and other approved deferrals.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Control, Materials, Line Maintenance and System Operations.
• Develop planning and operational-performance KPIs.
• Improve maintenance-planning processes and technology.
• Manage staffing, workloads and shift coverage.
Eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree or an accepted combination of education and experience.
• Five years of aviation technical-maintenance operations, planning or materials experience.
• Three years of leadership experience.
• Knowledge of Part 121 regulations.
• Experience with aircraft routing, maintenance scheduling and deferral management.
• Ability to obtain a SIDA badge.
• Legally authorised to work in the United States without sponsorship.
