Job Description
The Maintenance Instructor develops and delivers classroom and on-the-job training through JetBlue University’s College of Technical Operations. The position teaches aircraft systems and maintenance procedures in both classroom and live-maintenance environments.
Responsibilities
• Deliver classroom aircraft-maintenance training.
• Facilitate practical on-the-job instruction.
• Develop aircraft-systems learning materials.
• Revise Technical Operations training programmes.
• Evaluate participant understanding and practical performance.
• Support recurrent and initial maintenance training.
• Work safely in active maintenance environments.
• Travel to support training requirements.
Eligibility
• High-school diploma or GED.
• Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant licence.
• Five years of diversified aircraft-maintenance experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SIDA badge.
• Valid travel documents for international travel.
• Availability for approximately 40% overnight travel.
• Ability to work days, evenings, nights and holidays.
• Legally authorised to work in the United States.
