Job Description

The Industrial Engineer works with airline operational teams to improve airport layouts, resource planning, capacity and operating processes through statistical analysis, simulation and continuous-improvement methods.

Responsibilities

• Analyse schedules and recommend operational changes.
• Conduct capacity, demand and bottleneck assessments.
• Build simulations and statistical models.
• Perform time studies and establish operating standards.
• Extract and analyse data using SQL, Python and Excel.
• Develop financial business cases.
• Lead cross-departmental process-improvement projects.
• Mentor junior industrial engineers.

Eligibility

• Relevant engineering or operations-research degree, or accepted equivalent experience.
• Three years of industrial, systems or simulation-engineering experience.
• Advanced statistical and simulation-modelling knowledge.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office capability.
• Ability to travel approximately 10%.
• Legally authorised to work in the United States without sponsorship.
