Job Description
The engineer joins GM’s autonomous-vehicle Software Validation team and converts validation strategies into reliable software for analysing autonomy behaviour.
Responsibilities
Develop software for autonomous-vehicle behaviour validation.
Create repeatable methods for testing autonomy hardware and software.
Build tools that analyse vehicle behaviour and performance.
Improve validation automation and software quality.
Collaborate with autonomy, systems and testing engineers.
Eligibility
Recently completed or completing a master’s degree in spring 2026.
Degree in computer science, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, data science or a related field.
Strong software-development and analytical abilities.
Understanding of testing, simulation or autonomous systems.
