Job Description
This senior leadership position owns GM’s socially and environmentally responsible sourcing strategy across direct and indirect supply chains. The manager will translate sustainability objectives, regulatory obligations and supplier standards into practical sourcing controls, assessments, reporting systems and corrective-action programmes.
Responsibilities
• Own and develop responsible-sourcing policies, standards and governance.
• Lead supplier due-diligence, assessment and audit processes.
• Monitor corrective-action plans and verify the closure of findings.
• Integrate environmental requirements into onboarding, contracts and supplier-performance management.
• Develop ESG metrics, dashboards and leadership reports.
• Lead and develop employees while influencing global cross-functional teams.
Eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 10 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, compliance, Sustainability/ESG or responsible sourcing.
• Proven experience directly leading teams of at least four or five people.
• Strong negotiation, supplier-management and programme-management capability.
• Ability to undertake approximately 10–20% domestic and international travel.
• Must already possess valid US work authorization without present or future sponsorship.
