Job Description
The engineer develops electronic control and diagnostic systems for high-energy pulsed-power equipment. Work includes circuit design, PCB development, instrumentation and data acquisition.
Responsibilities
• Design control and data-acquisition systems.
• Develop circuit schematics and PCB layouts.
• Assemble and test electronic hardware.
• Integrate sensors and diagnostic instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical components and systems.
• Support pulsed-power experiments and facility operations.
Eligibility
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
• PCB schematic and layout experience.
• Electronic-circuit simulation experience.
• Experience configuring data-acquisition systems.
• Ability to satisfy US export-control requirements.
