Job Description
The supervisor leads preventive and corrective maintenance activities supporting automotive body manufacturing, production availability, safety and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Supervise, mentor and coach unionised skilled-trades personnel.
Plan preventive maintenance, emergency repairs and daily equipment start-up.
Diagnose equipment failures and lead root-cause analysis.
Coordinate labour, materials and schedules with production departments.
Conduct safety audits and ensure compliance with lockout, lifting and environmental procedures.
Lead continuous-improvement activities to reduce downtime and waste.
Eligibility
College diploma or skilled-trade Certificate of Qualification.
At least two years of supervisory experience or five years of trade experience in manufacturing.
Ability to work day, afternoon and midnight shifts.
Strong leadership, maintenance and troubleshooting capabilities.
