Job Description

Provide technical leadership for high-voltage energy-management, protection and wireless-charging safety. Define system requirements, integrate safety mechanisms and ensure electrified vehicle systems satisfy functional-safety objectives.

Responsibilities

• Define high-voltage energy-management requirements.
• Lead system-safety analysis and assurance.
• Develop protection concepts for contactors, distribution and electronic fuses.
• Coordinate system, hardware and software safety work.
• Lead technical reviews and resolve integration risks.
• Support verification and validation activities.

Eligibility

• Relevant engineering degree.
• Experience with safety-critical electrical systems.
• Knowledge of high-voltage storage, protection or energy management.
• Ability to lead cross-functional technical reviews.
• Must not require GM immigration sponsorship.
