Job Description
This engineering position supports power producers, renewable-energy developers and utilities with the analysis, testing and validation of generating facilities and their control systems. The engineer helps demonstrate that equipment performs correctly when connected to the electrical grid and satisfies applicable interconnection requirements.
Responsibilities
• Perform grid-code compliance and generating-facility performance assessments.
• Develop and execute validation and testing procedures.
• Analyze generating equipment, plant controls and grid interactions.
• Prepare technical findings, reports and customer documentation.
• Work with customers and internal engineering teams to resolve compliance issues.
• Support field tests, model validation and technical troubleshooting.
Eligibility
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent technical education.
• Experience with electrical power systems, generating equipment or controls.
• Ability to interpret technical requirements and analyze engineering data.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship.
• Ability to meet applicable customer-site and pre-employment requirements.
